Read MoreA wooden folio to display photos. A living hinge, cut by a laser, makes it possible to bend the wood--it can open and close much like a traditional folio or book. Hinges are also used to create bookcovers, boxes and other products. In this design, 4 photos can be mounted, and magnets can be used to create a latch.
A combination of a photo-encaustic image and a CNC carved dream catcher. The dream catcher started as a conventional photo, was then used for an encaustic work and was subsequently processed in Photoshop prior to its carving in acrylic. The acrylic is a white slab painted blue. Please note: many, if not all of the photos used for the carvings, are from photos that you may see in other galleries on this site.
